Another chance to hear the story of session pianist Nicky Hopkins, who played on over 300 albums, 13 of them by the Rolling Stones.
Other beneficiaries of the Hopkins touch include the Beatles, Dusty
Springfield, David Bowie , the Kinks, Rod Stewart and Joe Cocker.
Hopkins never pursued a full-time career with one band because he suffered from Crohn's disease, which indirectly resulted in his death in 1994, aged 50. Presented by Bob Harris and featuring Joe Cocker , Bill Wyman , Dave Davies ,
Graham Parker and many others.
