Joan and Michael Langdon are starting on a holiday to Germany and Austria. Their first objective is Munich. Joan learned German at school, but hasn't had much opportunity to keep it up since. Michael picked up a few useful scraps of German when he served with B.A.O.R., but has now provided himself with a phrase book.
