A Course of Bible Lectures
The Rev. Canon A. C. DEANE
3-The Gospels : Mark, Matthew
This is the third of ten talks in a new series for young people between the ages of sixteen and eighteen. The talks are to be broadcast each Monday until March 23. Canon Deane, well-known broadcaster, gave five talks in ' Pillars of the Church ' in 1934 and a memorable broadcast on ' Church and King ' on the occasion of the late King's Jubilee last summer. In his series ' Treasures of the Bible ', which ran from January to April last year, Canon Deane discussed a subject on which he has expert knowledge. His book ' How to Enjoy the Bible ', published in 1925, has been widely read.
