2/5. Ben Fogle, James Cracknell and Jonny Lee Miller run the London marathon as part of their training - but after unexpected results, the team begins to fracture and then Jonny has to pull out. He must be replaced at short notice and after a rigorous selection process, Dr Ed Coats, a 27-year-old gynaecologist from Bristol, is brought on board. But the trio have a lot of catching up to do and, after a week of hell on a glacier in Switzerland, they finally learn to work together as a team. Then Ben discovers that he has a potentially lethal tropical illness that could stop them in their tracks.
