of Touch of Evil Janet Leigh , Peter Bogdanovich and Charlton Heston contribute to this documentary which tells the dramatic behind-the-scenes story of Orson Welles 's film Touch of Evil, the subsequent controversial re-editing undertaken by the studio, and the recent restoration work that has enabled audiences to see as much of Welles's intended version as possible.
