England v Ireland
A fortnight ago Ireland suffered no disgrace in their defeat by Wales while England, had they taken their chances, should have returned from Murrayfield with more to show for their efforts than a ten-point defeat. Both teams will be striving today to avoid the ignominy of winning ' the wooden spoon.'
