This documentary coincides with the second showing of A Picture of Katherine Mansfield, the recent BBC2 drama series, starring Vanessa Redgrave.
It explores the roots of a lifelong friendship - between the New Zealand short story writer, Katherine Mansfield, and another woman known as L.M.
Katherine Mansfield died in 1923. Lesley Moore, the L.M. of this story, remembers the ups and downs of their life together with vivid intensity. The programme is narrated by the New Zealand born actress, BRIDGET ARMSTRONG.
