The French are firm favourites to achieve the Grand Slam and take the Five Nations championship, but two years ago the Scots upset the odds with a 23-21 triumph, their first win in France for 26 years. England's sights must now realistically be set on the Triple Crown after their record Five Nations victories over Scotland and Ireland were followed by the dramatic 23-20 defeat by France at Twickenham.
