: The Children's Royal Variety Performance

A magical, musical mystery adventure held in the presence of HRH the Princess Margaret, in aid of the NSPCC. Join Billy Jones, Indiana's younger brother, on a quest to recover a rare ruby stolen from the depths of the British Museum. This ruby, discovered in 1892, is said to have been the stone used for "the eye of the little red-eyed idol to the south of Kathmandu". The reward to the person returning it to its rightful place is power beyond their wildest dreams. Taking part in this fun-packed extravaganza are Take That!, Phillip Schofield, Linzi Hateley, Bobby Davro, Leslie Grantham, Gorden Kaye, Sue Hodge, Ronn Lucas with Scorch the Dragon, Rolf Harris, Little and Large, Jimmy Cricket, Sonia, Bill Oddie, Shane Richie, Maddi Cryer, Ali Bongo, Shahid Malik, and the Acromaniacs. Billy Pearce appears as Billy Jones and the 2 Marks as the Villains Otto and Klaus, and there are highlights from the Royal Ballet's production of The Tales of Beatrix Potter, featuring Iain Webb as Mrs Tiggywinkle, William Trevitt as Mr Jeremy Fisher and Junior Associates of the Royal Ballet School as the Country Mice.
