Tonight, Terry Wogan is given a cooking lesson by the unlikely culinary pairing of Michael Elphick , the star of ITV's Boon (a new series of which starts next month), and Don Henderson , who starred in BBCl's The Paradise Club.
Their new no-frills cookery series, Absolute Beginners
Guide to Cookery (starting on BBC1 next Monday afternoon), will concentrate on simple classics like cauliflower cheese and spaghetti bolognese. And performing in the studio are the veteran rock band Status Quo, who are celebrating the end of their 25th year in rock 'n' roll.
Their aim now is to get into the Guinness Book of World Records for their Rock Till
You Drop tour, which is scheduled to take them to four major UK towns in the space of just 12 hours.
