On 1 April last year the BBC showed a documentary called Standing Up for Joe. It told the story of a 5-year-old boy with cerebral palsy called Joe Horsley who was taken by his parents to a remarkable institute in Hungary where they educate brain-injured children.
The film produced 11,000 letters to the BBC, questions in the House of Commons and the formation of a pressure group for children with similar handicaps.
It also gave hope to parents all over the country.
To Hungary with Love catches up with Joe Horsley and tells the extraordinary story of how, after seeing the film, 150 parents in Britain gave up their jobs to take their handicapped children to Hungary for what is called Conductive Education.
