Leningrad, the second-biggest Soviet city, is a favourite with tourists, with its beautiful canals and its famous Hermitage Museum, home of one of the world's great art collections. In the last 70 years, the city has had three names - St Petersburg, Petrograd and Leningrad. Mark reports on the huge changes in Russia that brought about the new names and created the USSR.
