with Desmond Wilcox The Lost Twin
Earlier this century unwanted twins used to be sent to different homes for adoption or fostering. They frequently grew up never even knowing that they were twins. Lilian Wales, a widow, has just been reunited, at the age of 62, with the twin Betty she never knew she had. All her life she felt that something was missing - and couldn't tell quite what it was. All her life she yearned for a complete and happy family. Now she feels she has one. This film retraces the difficult lives of two courageous women and is present at their reunion with their families.
