Barry McGuigan (champion) v Danilo Cabrera (challenger) McGuigan's second defence of his title takes him to the Simmonscourt Pavilion in Dublin where the Clones Cyclone is assured of a hero's reception. His opponent, a late replacement for Fernando Sosa, is 22-year-old Danilo Cabrera from the Dominican Republic, now ranked sixth in the world by the WBA.
