: The Last Concorde

On 9 April 1969, the first British Concorde made its maiden flight from Filton. £1,600-million has been spent on this Franco-British project but on 20 April 1979, the last plane came off the production line and made a brief two-hour flight.
For the workers at Filton it's the end of the Concorde era. Two of these plane workers, Alan Rad ford and Wally Williams , tell what it's been like working on the supersonic plane over the last decade. Commentary CHRIS DUNKLEY
