Persian Commando
The Special Forces are Iran's crack Commando Unit. Like our own Special Air Service, their i skills are specialised, their training rigorous.
Taste for Adventure follows Major Mustapha Ettaati , a unit commander in the Special Forces Brigade. as he trains his men in forest, mountain and desert in techniques of survival and warfare.
In one of the world's most sensitive areas, in scenery exotic and remote, ' Persian Commando' shows the Special Forces in action and questions what such forces are really for.

Haley, an American Negro, travelled half-a-million miles and spent over ten years writing Roots - tracing his ancestors back to Africa armed only with family stories, a few words handed down through the generations, the name of an ancestor captured into slavery: Kunta Kinte.

A Window on the Square
Andre Kertesz is a master of the miniature camera, and for more than 60 years he's used it to capture moments of charm and beauty from the everyday life around him.
In his 83rd year and far from his native Hungary, he lives in Washington Square, New York. Nowadays, after two muggings, he prefers to live high above the streets and spy out the life below from the safety of his own balcony.
