Today HM The Queen, accompanied by HRH The Duke of Edinburgh, inaugurates the first constant flow supply of British North Sea oil at the BP Operations Control Room, Dyce, Aberdeen.
The Prime Minister and members of the Cabinet are also present.
RAYMOND BAXTER tells the story of North Sea Oil and describes the scene at Dyce.
KENNETH ROY reports from the Refinery at Grangemouth near Edinburgh as crude oil flows from the 237-mile-long pipeline.
