In a very special edition of Mera Safar, Ray Khan is joined by actress Sharmila Tagore to mark her 70th birthday. Sharmila will look back at her career and talks about her first appearance on screen at the tender age of 14 in director Satyajit Ray's Bengali film Apur Sansar, starring and working alongside heartthrobs and legends like Shammi Kapoor and Rajesh Khanna and meeting the love of her life, the late cricket player and Nawaab of Pataudi, Mansoor Ali Khan. Sharmila also talks about her son Saif Ali Khan and how she found out about his first marriage by reading it in a national newspaper. Sharmila will also play a selection of her favourite songs.
