Galen, Rex,
Imperator, Ruler of his People, tonight celebrates the marriage of his son, His Highness Prince Michael of Moldavia to
Amanda, daughter of the House of Carrington, of Denver, Colorado. In attendance will be the bride's mother, Mrs Alexis Dexter , Head of Colby Co
Investments of Denver and Hong Kong, the bride's father, Mr Blake Carrington , Head of Carrington Oil, the bride's step-father, the well-known philanthropist Mr Dex Dexter , the bride's step-mother, Mrs Blake
Carrington, one of Denver's leading hostesses, and other members of the Colby and Carrington families.
It is the first visit to Moldavia for most of them, but those in court circles will remember affectionately the vivacious and witty Mrs Dexter as a generous and warm friend of Moldavia and a popular member of HM King Galen's intimate circle some years ago. We welcome our guests to our country and embrace them.

About this project

This site contains the BBC listings information which the BBC printed in Radio Times between 1923 and 2009. You can search the site for BBC programmes, people, dates and Radio Times editions.

We hope it helps you find information about that long forgotten BBC programme, research a particular person or browse your own involvement with the BBC.

Through the listings, you will also be able to use the Genome search function to find thousands of radio and TV programmes that are already available to view or listen to on the BBC website.

There are more than 5 million programme listings in Genome. This is a historical record of the planned output and the BBC services of any given time. It should be viewed in this context and with the understanding that it reflects the attitudes and standards of its time - not those of today.
