Magical family drama about the adventures of orphan girls Pauline, Petrova and Posy, adopted by eccentric explorer Professor Brown in 1930s London. When the professor goes missing, the girls are taken care of by his niece Sylvia. The arrival of dance teacher Theo Dane and melancholic Mr Simpson changes the family's lives after they are enrolled in theatre school.
