H. 0. HODGSON (organ)
Relayed from St. Mary's Church,
Nottingham
This is the first of a short series of ' outside ' broadcasts which are intended to show organists and choirs that there is much excellent material in recently composed Church music. St. Mary's Church Choir at Nottingham consists of thirty-five men and forty boys, and is the largest parish church choir in the country. VaughanWilliams's Te Deum is considered to be one of the best modern examples, and the part for double choir is particularly fine.
