Synopsis

1943 and the Hebridean island of Todday is an island of despair - marooned without whisky. But every cloud has a silver lining and when a ship is wrecked, the islanders learn that the cargo is whisky. The authorities decide that finders should not be keepers, but the canny islanders have other ideas.
