International Football
Highlights of three matches on a day of decision for British teams in the European Championship. In Group 4, England travelled to Turkey, whom they beat 8-0 on their last visit, while in Belfast, Northern Ireland know that a win against Yugoslavia tonight would keep their hopes alive, but also ease England's chances of qualifying. Meanwhile, in Group 6, Wales were looking for a good win in Wrexham against the Czechs to further their chances of making the finals in West Germany next summer.
Commentators JOHN MOTSON, BARRY DAVIES and TONY GUBBA

World Snooker
By the end of the evening the identity will be known of all four semi-finalists in the World Championships at Sheffield.
Commentators TED LOWE, JACK KARNEHM and CLIVE EVERTON
