Highlights of this morning's events.

12.25, 3.00 Motorsport
Live action from rounds 15 and 16 of the Touring Car championship, taking place at Knockhill. Switzerland's Alain Menu, the dominant figure in this year's championship, is closing in on his first title. With commentary by Murray Walker.

1.50 Three-Day Eventing Coverage of the British Open championship from Gatcombe Park.
William Fox-Pitt has been the rider to beat recently, as he has won for the past two years on Hackett's Chaka. With commentary by Michael Tucker, Lorna Clarke, Lucinda Green and Clare Balding.

3.50 World Athletics Championships
This afternoon's live coverage from Athens includes at 4.00 the men's 400m second round, in which Iwan Thomas, Mark Richardson and Jamie Baulch are expected to carry British hopes. At 4.25 it's the women's 100m semi-finals, 4.45 men's 100m semi-finals, 5.05 women's 400m semi-finals, 5.20 men's 1500m first round and at 6.45 the women's 1500m semi-finals, where Kelly Holmes will be looking to reach the final. Coverage continues on BBC1 with both 100m finals. TV presentation (motorsport) Jim Reside and Malcolm Kemp.
