at the Organ of the Odeon Cinema, Weston-super-Mare
Peggy Weber, organist at the Odeon since last August, began to study the organ at the age of seventeen with Dr. Thalben-Ball. After winning distinction for her studies in violin playing and pianoforte, she studied the cinema organ, and at the age of eighteen became resident organist at the Kingsway Cinema, Hadleigh. Later she was transferred to a London theatre, where she was taught by Harold Ramsay, who appointed her organist for his stage show, 'Radio-Rodeo', with which she went on tour. On returning to London she broadcast at the BBC Theatre Organ last April.
She believes that she is one of the youngest women organists in England.
