Otto is just an average American kid. Fired from his supermarket job, he joins forces with a car repossession company, enjoying the thrills of road chases, sex, drugs and urban violence. Meanwhile, a crazed scientist is driving a Chevy
Malibu towards Los Angeles, carrying a mysterious and lethal load in the trunk. Soon the Chevy becomes the prize of all the local repo men.... Alex Cox 's cult movie, a science-fiction thriller with a punk flavour, is being shown in a special version approved by the director featuring scenes not previously shown in Britain.
