Indonesia, 1965. Guy Hamilton, a journalist with the Australian Broadcasting Service, arrives in Jakarta on his first overseas assignment. He finds himself plunged into a world of revolution and fear, with only one guide he can trust - the photographer, Billy Kwan. Then Guy meets Jill Bryant and their passionate affair has perilous consequences for both of them. Two of the 80s most popular stars feature in this tense and atmospheric political thriller from the director of Witness.
