The Awakening Land

A three-part film version of CONRAD richter's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, starring Elizabeth Montgomery Hal Holbrook 1: The Trees Worth Luckett, with his wife and four daughters, is the first white man to hack his way through the trackless forests of 18th-century Ohio in search of game. Finding a small clearing near a river, Worth builds a cabin and with the few possessions they have carried from Pennsylvania, the Lucketts settle into their new home.
