Synopsis

Tonight's speaker in this important series is a distinguished Indian who was called to the Bar by Lincoln's Inn. He has been a member of the Governor - General's Executive Council of India (Departments of Commerce and Railways) since 1932. From 1916 to 1935 he practised in Lahore High Court, and from 1919 to 1924 he was Law Lecturer in the University Law College at Lahore. He has held many eminent appointments and was delegate to the Round Table Conferences and to the Joint Select Committee of Parliament on Indian Reforms in 1933. He was President of the All-India Muslim League in 1931.
