The men's final was won in thrilling fashion by Novak Djokovic as he ended Roger Federer's hopes of a record eighth Wimbledon title with a five-set victory. Earlier in the tournament, defending champion Andy Murray was knocked out by Bulgaria's Grigor Dimitrov in the quarter-finals.

While in the women's event, Petra Kvitova swept past Canada's Eugenie Bouchard 6-3 6-0 to win her second Wimbledon title. Show less
