2009

Episode 14

Duration: 30 minutes

First broadcast: on BBC Two ScotlandLatest broadcast: on BBC HD

Toby Buckland, Carol Klein, Joe Swift and Alys Fowler give professional pointers to help groom gardens to perfection.

It was love at first sight when Lynda Brown first saw the overgrown garden at Jessamine Cottage. It was obvious to her that this was a garden that was once loved but needed bringing back to life. What she didn't know was that she would not only unearth the garden but also find a bit of Jessamine's history when a neighbour put her in touch with Mary Drayton, the previous owner who made the garden.

Over the course of two years Gardeners' World has followed Lynda's progress. Toby Buckland visits Jessamine Cottage and finds out from Lynda about the garden as it was in Mary's time and how it is now. Show less
