Inspector Amos Burke is probably the only policeman who arrives at work in a chauffeur-driven limousine, for he was born a millionaire. He is, nevertheless, a dedicated man of law, and the case of Julie Greer, a beautiful model who is found strangled in her Hollywood home, proves to be one of his most difficult assignments.
