The last of seven programmes. Saudi Rules OK?
The story behind Jimmy Hill 's venture into Saudi Arabian football. Reporter NICK ROSS
A travel agent, a physiotherapist, two former teachers, a couple of football coaches and an ex-First Division manager are lured to Saudi Arabia by the promise of a new challenge and rich contracts. Saudi Arabia is the fastest growing economy on earth; the Saudis are impatient to modernise their country. They want new football pitches instead of patches of sand - they want to win the World Cup. But what's it like to live and work in a land which is the home of Islam without wives or women or drink?
