Gower's Cricket Monthly

Synopsis

We have produced a Style Guide to help editors follow a standard format when editing a listing. If you are unsure how best to edit this programme please take a moment to read it.
David Gower presents the first of a new monthly series, featuring cricket's best action, greatest characters and liveliest stories. This evening's programme includes highlights of the West Indies' recent series with Australia; a Video Diary by Jimmy Adams , the batsman ranked number one in the world, with an insight into the West Indians' preparationsfortheir England tour; captain Mike Atherton and Playerofthe Year Darren Gough discuss England's prospects of beating the West Indies this summer; and former Neighbours star Mark Little begins his series of off-beat looks at
English cricket, with a spectator's view of the County Championship. Plus a look at the current controversy surrounding Pakistani cricket;
Allan Donald coachingyoungsters on the art of fast bowling; six promising cricketers to follow this summer; and a roundup of the season so far.
