Katie McEvers is pretty and just 19 years old. When she wins a local beauty contest, Katie takes her prize - a bus ticket to Hollywood - and heads for fame and fortune. One day she is approached by a magazine anxious to find new models for their highly-popular centre pages....
This made-for-tv movie presents an accurate and often moving study of disillusionment and frustrated ambition in' tinsel town'.
