Synopsis

We have produced a Style Guide to help editors follow a standard format when editing a listing. If you are unsure how best to edit this programme please take a moment to read it.
A series of six programmes about arguably the most delicious food in the world.
3: Italian cookery expert Valentina Harris features food from north-west Italy. The dairy produce of Lombardy is legendary - cheese and butter make the sumptuous classic Milanese dishes a heart doctor's nightmare. But Milan is also the takeaway capital of Italy - sophisticated fast food for all those high fashion designers too busy to cook. In autumn, neighbouring Piedmont is an epicure's heaven - wine, chocolate and truffles. Will a hearty hike in the Alps of Val d'Aosta provide a respite?
