This famous romantic drama recounts the life of composer Richard Wilder and his three passions-his wife, his music and Alida, the beautiful Italian girl who saved his life during the war. The climax to the film is the premiere of his masterwork, a heroic opera based on the legend of the Glass Mountain told to him by Alida.
