Beryl M. H. Goddard
'Wherever you find yourself, take it in the day's march.' That is the spirit of Mrs. Beryl Goddard 's talk. She will speak of her experiences in the Falkland Islands during the war and of life in Sierra Leone afterwards. She was a commissioner of Girl Guides in West Africa, and broadcast in the Children's Hour there. She spent many of the happiest years of her life in that country, and suffered her greatest sorrow there. She has been a wanderer who has found that
' All places that the eye of heaven visits
Are to a wise man ports and happy havens.'
