Led by Ernest Element
Conducted by Reginald Burston
Grieg's Lyric Suite consists of four of the Lyrical Pieces for piano, which have been selected because the style of the music lends itself admirably to orchestral transcription. They were first arranged by the conductor Anton Seidl , and later rearranged even more admirably by Grieg himself. The suite is among the most popular of Grieg's orchestral works.
