Phil Gaines is a poor but honest cop - devoted to his job. His companion is Nicole, a beautiful call-girl, equally devoted to her more lucrative profession. Together they plan to escape the world of hustling and violence, but when Gaines becomes involved in a brutal murder case, it dramatically affects both their lives.
