Synopsis

We have produced a Style Guide to help editors follow a standard format when editing a listing. If you are unsure how best to edit this programme please take a moment to read it.
First of three plays by Billy Roche set in the Irish town of Wexford.
These studies of small-town life were first performed at
London's Bush Theatre and are acted by players from the original stage productions. Poor Beast in the Rain
On the eve of the all-Ireland hurling final, people gather in the betting shop - where they are stirred by the sudden return of Danger Doyle , the ultimate Wexford chancer.
