Ramadan

on BBC Television

A BBC-tv documentary by Anthony de Lotbiniere.
From sunrise to sunset no morsel of food or drop of drink or even the smoke of a cigarette may pass the lips of any Moslem during the month of Ramadan.
Tonight's film shows the effects of this fast on the people of Morocco- an ancient country now emerging into the twentieth century.
Commentary written and narrated by Rene Cutforth.
