Superstar Redford plays the daredevil flier Waldo Pepper whose ambition is to outdo the stunts of the legendary German ace Ernst Kessler. This exhilarating, spectacular film vividly evokes the fast-changing world of flying and air circuses in the 20s and includes some of the most breath-taking aerial stunts ever filmed.
