Crime on Our Hands: Episode 2

A serial in six episodes written for television by Edward Boyd from a synopsis by Len Fincham and Laurie Wyman.
[Starring] Geraldine McEwan and Jack Watling with Dennis Price

Kenneth Martin, a well-known radio personality, on returning home, finds his wife-Kay-has as usual forgotten to listen to his broadcast. Their next-door neighbour, Mrs. Curzon, interrupts them to tell them that her flat has been burgled. But she will not allow them to call the police. The Martins go to Mrs. Curzon's flat, leaving her alone in their sitting-room, where she hides half-a-dozen diamonds in one of twelve bottles of sherry that are on a shelf.
In the flat next door Kay and Kenneth find a cigarette case with the monogram 'CD'. and they return to their own flat to discover Mrs. Curzon strangled with one of Kay's scarves. In a panic they take the body back to the flat next door and call the police, who enter Mrs. Curzon's flat. It is in perfect order but her body has vanished.
