Hitchcock's 1935 version of John Buchan 's classic adventure story remains one of the most popular British films by the acknowledged master of suspense and mystery. Richard Hannay , pursued by the police for a murder he did not commit and by an international spy-ring for information he does not know, finds himself fleeing across the desolate Scottish moors - handcuffed to a beautiful blonde!
