The celebrated cellist MSTISLAV ROSTROPOVICH is heard in an unusual role tonight when he accompanies his wife, soprano GALINA VISHNEVSKAYA , in songs by Tchaikovsky and Stravinsky.
This is followed by a performance of Bach's Suite No 3, in c major, for unaccompanied cello.
