Canon Guy Rogers has been Rector of Birmingham since 1925, and has been a chaplain to the King since 191S. He is the author of ' The Church and the People ' and other works, and was joint editor of ' Liberal Evangelicalism '. Both he and his wife are well-known speakers on social subjects.
