A Geordie Marley Story by Walter Diericx
Told by Sal Sturgeon
(Newcastle Programme)
Geordie, his wife Jinnie, and their friends the Baxtors form a group of Tyneside characters who are now old acquaintances of Northern listeners. Their adventures, which are always told by Sal Sturgeon , invariably receive a warm welcome in the North-East. In this story the two men, who introduce some pigeons to a partridge shoot with the intention of making money out of the inevitable result, are again thwarted by their over-vigilant wives.
