The British Sailors' Society has a chain of hostels, institutes, and agencies throughout the world. Since the outbreak of war extensions and developments have been readily undertaken, and the demand for further services is constant. The Society cares for the spiritual and physical welfare of thousands of sailors of the Royal and Merchant Navies, and provides sleeping accommodation, meals, and recreation.
